This document explains the terms in which BetterConcepts Unipessoal Lda with its registered office at Rua João Conforte nº 18, Apartado 41, 7800-184, Beja and registered with the Commercial Registry of Lisbon, under the unique number of legal person and registration 514 859 334, collects, uses and processes the data and information its readers through its applications. The rules for the collection, use and processing of data and information are in accordance with national legislation and the Applicable Personal Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016.

BetterConcepts Unipessoal Lda (hereinafter "BetterConcepts") ensures the privacy of its readers as well as the personal data submitted by them, being responsible for the https://betterconcepts.pt and https://bconcepts.pt sites (hereinafter the "Sites") and the BetterConcepts Mobile Application (hereinafter the "App").

List of saved reading articles: information of the articles that the reader has saved in his or her reserved area.

Technical information about computer devices: operating system, resolution, software,search engine or mobile device used to access the Sites.

Payment and financial information: name, address and tax taxpayer number of readers who subscribe to our services.

Anonymous information: recording of activity and navigation on the Sites.

Minors Data

BetterConcepts does not knowingly (and cannot distinguish) data from minors under the age of 16. However, with the information that data has been collected from minors, BetterConcepts will immediately delete them.

Use of the collected data

BetterConcepts uses the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Making your services available to the reader;
  • Providing support to the reader;

Data Retention Deadline

The data collected are processed for the period strictly necessary to carry out the specific purpose of each.

The identification data of registered readers and list of saved reading articles are kept as long as their relationship with the reader is maintained. This will be up held until the reader deletes their registration with BetterConcepts or requests their deletion/cancellation of their subscription.

For the purposes of commercial transactions and compliance with legal billing obligations, the data will be kept for the period legally provided for the fulfillment of legal obligations, as well as for contesting legal situations and for the period they remain.
